Summertime

I feel as though my summer has been unproductive.  Although I did go on vacation and I plan to leave very soon for another vacation, I feel as if I havec not done anything productive.  It has to be one of the most confusing things as to how I have done so much yet none of what I have done feels productive.  So I sit pondering the feats that I may have accomplished with the coming of summer and I am coming up short.  Well everyone, have a nice summer!

#95 Reading a Good Book

One of my more favorite things to do but I guess it is going in the number ninety-five spot.

Books allow your imagination to wander.  The only thing that ruins a good book is if there is a movie made about it.  The movie kind of ruins the images that you have made of the characters, that is my only pet peeve.

Absence

Sorry for my absence from the cyber world.  School has just got out and my family and I went on a trip.  That was super fun!

But my absence from “Don’t You Think” inspired a new topic which is absence.  You never realize what you had until it is gone.  Things such as friend.  If you don’t talk for some time and then you talk to them again it is just weird.  The gap has widened and you find yourself in an awkward conversation after catching up.  It hurts when your friend has totally taken a new view on life and has just decided to throw it away.  Meaning drugs and alcohol.  I mean somehow she passed last school year with a B but that isn’t the point.  That change just is shocking.

#96 Watching the Stars

Watching the stars at night is just so relaxing, you can make you own constellations or point out already made constellations.  What’s even nicer is when you get sleep outside, so when you are just drifting off to sleep, your last view for that night is the stars.  This is what consists of my summers.  I sleep outside in a tent, look through the top, and watch the stars.  I love astronomy and this just fascinates me how these stars can be billions of light years away and yet we still see the light that they give off even though some of the stars are long gone.  It would be even better view them from a hammock and sleep there, but I don’t own one so a tent is good.  Well, that is number ninety-six!  Remember to post possible ideas for the list, what is the best smallest little thing you can think of?

Being My Own Person

Middle school I thought you had to what everyone else was, so I tried and I failed.  I was quiet and nothing really mattered.  In high school I can be my own person.  I can be who I want to be without jurisdiction except for those few people.  I love being my own person and I like being able to actually talk to people and not freak out when speaking in front of a class.  I am my own person and it is amazing.  It ‘s hard to remember that but I must forge on and you should the same.  Any rough patches just smooth them over and every thing should be alright.

#98 The Sound of Music

So I found a little trick to writing my blogs so that they are actually, well good. Music. I found out that if I am listening to music I actually am typing in beat with the music and I usually listen to fast paced songs. I also realized that the music fuels my emotions so I dedicated one of the things on my little list of small things that makes life that much sweeter is the sound of music.
First off, I have never heard of a person who hates music. I think it may be possible but I have my doubts. The thing about music is that it can trigger a memory, or help you express inner rage, or just so many other things. Music is so amazing to me. what is your favorite singer or band? My ranges between Paramore and Billy Joel. It’s a weird combination, trust me I know, but they kind of balance each other out.

A Slow Day

You know those days where you don’t want to crawl out of bed because either your still tired or your bed is just too warm?  What makes it even worse is if just a streak of sunlight escapes through your curtain and splashes your face with some solar warmth, that is when it is the worst.  You are so warm and comfortable in bed, but you know that you have to get up.  Oh how cruel life is somedays, but we must forge on and have a slow day.

So, as you have probably been preached not to lie your whole entire life.  Don’t lie.  If you think you can get away with lying try it.  Truth tends to erode lies away, leaving shining, awaiting, truthful truth.  Why even try it?  What’s sad is that one of my closest friends keeps lying to me.  I know she is, she has told me before, then when her boyfriend came she started lying to me and him.  It hurts.  I don’t like it when people lie.  When people lie you can see that others can see the truth and you can see how it hurts them.  Just don’t lie, please it hurts.

How Would You Want to be Remembered?

We all live on this Earth and we should cherish all the time we spend here.  It doesn’t matter what happens to us, what matters is how we would like to be remembered.  Things such as a teacher might be remembered for telling a student of theirs never to give up on graduating, even though their grades are bad, the student may strive to be better after this.  I know my mom who is a teacher, well she gets past students going up to her every day and they tell her what they have become and how she inspired them.  That to me is inspiring.  I may not want to follow in her footsteps to become a teacher, but I still want that satisfaction of knowing that I made a difference in someone else’s life.  That is what makes the travel through time worth it.  You know, someone asked me how I would like to be remembered today and I didn’t have an answer.  If someone were to ask you right now, what would you say?  So as an answer to that maybe you could write a comment in the comments section below, that would be truly awesome.

Dream out loud

Have you ever thought that you know maybe you are like someone else in the world? Just think things such as how many people share your birthday, which on average 19,178,082 people share your birthday, these numbers seem enormous to us as individuals but in a world with a little over 7 billion people, it is just a measly fraction. Amazing right? You may not see how this contributes to my point in the subject title, but I will get there very soon. We are all biased but that doesn’t mean we should view ourselves higher than others. I see this everyday. It doesn’t matter whether you’re Navajo, white, or even black. It doesn’t matter what religion you are or even if you don’t have one. Why does it matter? Those differences are what bind us together and we should just embrace that. Who cares whether or not your gay or not, what matters is what we can contribute to the world and each other, why can we not think about that? That leads me to my next point. No matter what don’t stop dreaming. If people ask you what you want to be when you grow up tell them an astronaut or the president, even if you aren’t the best student, stick to your dreams and for gods sake, DO NOT GIVE UP. Dream out loud and tell the world what you would like to achieve. Don’t let anyone step on your dreams, and don’t let any silly biases get in your way. Tell everyone that is anyone about your dreams. Who knows they may help you achieve your dreams. This is why we must be kind to one another. Or if that is hard, at least tolerate them, you don’t have to be the best of friends. Remember everyone, dream out loud, don’t let anyone stop on your dreams. You are awesome. I also dare you, my fellow readers to list your dreams in the comments section, I would love to see others aspirations. Now I will tell you mine. I want to be a veterinarian. The caring of animals is my passion and no one will ever stomp on my dreams.
